Why nothing is uploaded
The video is read, retuned and written on your own device. There is no server to send it to, so there is nothing to store, leak or delete. Check your browser's Network tab while it converts: the video never leaves.
With a free account the picture is copied bit for bit, so nothing about it changes. Without an account it is re-encoded once, to draw the small watermark.

Is your video not at A=440?
Most recordings are tuned to A=440, but some are at 442, 444 or already at 432. Set the source tuning under Options so the shift is measured from the right place.

Any pitch, not just 432
Switch to semitones to change the key of a video: whole semitones up to an octave either way are free. Cents, Custom Hz and the Solfeggio set are Pro.
The Solfeggio numbers (174, 285, 396, 417, 528, 639, 741, 852 and 963 Hz) are used the same way the player uses them: each one is the A reference, so 174 Hz moves the sound more than an octave down. 528 Hz is the exception: here it is A=444 tuning.
Only the pitch changes. The tempo, the length and the sync with the picture stay exactly as they were.

Keep the video in its own format, or save MP4 from MKV or WebM. With a free account you can save just the soundtrack as MP3 or M4A; Pro adds WAV. Choose the audio bitrate and 48 kHz, or tap a preset for YouTube, Reels and TikTok, or WhatsApp. Presets never crop your video.
On your phone
Pick a video from your gallery and share the result straight to an app. Keep the screen on while it converts: phones pause tabs in the background. Long videos are best done on a computer, which is why Pro allows 3 hours there and 30 minutes on a phone.

Convert only videos you have the rights to. Retuning doesn't change who owns the music, and it may break the modification terms of licensed stock or library music. We can't promise how Content ID or other matching systems treat a retuned video.
Questions
Is my video uploaded?
No. The video is read and written on your own device, in this browser tab. Nothing is sent to a server, and you can check that in your browser's Network tab while it converts.
Is there a watermark?
Without an account, converted videos carry a small “432 Player” mark in a corner. Sign in free and verify your email and your videos have no watermark; Pro has none either.
Why is the picture re-encoded without an account?
To draw the mark into the picture. With a free verified account the picture is copied bit for bit instead, so it doesn't change at all.
Will the video get shorter or go out of sync?
No. Only the pitch changes. The tempo, the length and the sync between sound and picture stay as they were, and every file is checked before it is offered.
Which formats can I save?
Your video in its own format, MP4 from MKV or WebM, or just the soundtrack as MP3, M4A or (Pro) WAV. Saving the soundtrack alone needs a free account.
What quality is the output?
Picture: untouched with an account, or 1080p or 720p if you choose to shrink it. Audio: AAC up to 192 kbps free, up to 320 kbps with Pro, at the original sample rate or 48 kHz.
Which settings for YouTube, Instagram, TikTok or WhatsApp?
Tap the preset under Options. YouTube and Reels/TikTok/Shorts keep the picture and set MP4 with 48 kHz audio; WhatsApp makes a smaller 720p file. Presets never crop, and the platforms re-encode uploads anyway.
How long can my video be?
1 minute without an account, 6 minutes with a free account, and up to 3 hours with Pro on a computer (30 minutes on a phone). Everything runs on your device, and long videos need a computer's memory and time.
Can I just get the audio?
Yes, with a free account: choose Audio only under Options and save MP3 or M4A (WAV with Pro). If you only have an audio file, the audio converter at 432hz.live/convert does it for songs.
What are the Solfeggio options?
A Pro set of 174, 285, 396, 417, 528, 639, 741, 852 and 963 Hz. Each number is used as the A reference, so 174 Hz moves the sound more than an octave down and 963 Hz more than an octave up. 528 Hz is A=444 tuning, the same as everywhere on 432 Player.
What is the difference between 432 Hz and 440 Hz?
440 Hz is the standard reference for the note A. Retuning to 432 Hz lowers everything by 31.77 cents, about a third of a semitone. Some listeners prefer how it sounds; it's a listening preference, and we make no health claims.
My video is tuned to A=442 or A=444. What do I do?
Set the source tuning under Options, Tuning. The shift is then measured from 442 or 444, so the result lands exactly on 432.
Does it work on iPhone and Android?
Yes, in a current browser: Chrome on Android, and Safari on iOS 26 or later. Keep the screen on while it converts, because phones pause tabs in the background.
I made the music with an AI generator. Can I convert the video?
Yes. The converter doesn't care how the sound was made. If you aren't sure what tuning the music is in, leave the source at 440 Hz.
Can I paste a YouTube link?
No. The converter only works on files on your device. To listen to YouTube in 432 Hz live, use the browser extension, and convert only videos you have the rights to.
Does retuning change who owns the music?
No. Retuning doesn't change the rights to the music or the video. Licensed stock or library music may not allow modifications, and we can't promise how Content ID or other matching systems treat a retuned video.
